LARRY J SMITH, CDFOM, President & CEO Larry founded LJS in 1991 after obtaining his New Jersey Electrical contractor’s license at the young age of 21. Under his leadership, LJS has evolved from a small residential contractor to a commercial electrical contracting powerhouse. As a dedicated businessman, Larry’s vision was to bring a higher level of service to the electrical, mechanical and lighting industry here in the greater metropolitan marketplace. He incorporated LJS in 1998 and oversees its daily operations along with several of his facilities-related businesses involving real estate, maintenance and general contracting. He’s also a Certified Data-Center Facilities Operation Manager.
PAUL MALONEY, PE, CFM, CDFOM, Vice President & COO Paul graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been involved with engineering maintenance throughout his 30-year career. His experience includes: supporting technical facilities that test aerodynamics using wind tunnels for proposed subsonic and supersonic aircraft designs. His work includes managing data centers, air cargo terminals, commercial real estate and pharmaceutical companies where he managed the operational integrity of the facility. Paul has a New Jersey Professional Engineering license and is a Certified Facility Manager with IFMA (foremost association of facility management professionals). He is a Certified Data-Center Facilities Operation Manager as well.
ROGER DANN, Vice President, Lighting & Energy Services Roger joined the LJS Team in 2017 and brings a wealth of knowledge to our expanding company. He has served with leading technology companies during his 30-year career as both Regional Manager and Vice President. He's an accomplished negotiator who has engineered numerous agreements with Fortune 500, National accounts and Government entities. His warm, client-centered approach and personal drive to succeed is a great asset to LJS. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Nyack College.
WILLIAM LOPEZ, Project Manager, Licensed Electrician Will brings experience to the LJS Team as a project planner and estimator. He is a licensed New Jersey Electrician and plays a vital role as Project Manager. He has significant field experience with lighting retrofits, power installations, and data-center power management. He also handles contract management for new construction, office fit-outs and retrofit projects. Will is an engaged professional with a genuine concern for delivering the best possible solution to our clients. William is also fluent in English and Spanish.
